Our Backstory
The history of Biashara Connect can be traced back to small business groups that met to share prospects, services, entertainment, and ideas. From those initial partnerships, projects like Meet Mingole and Sip & Shop, started and orchestrated by Subira Mwana, were born, affording opportunities for networking, visibility, and expansion.
Expanding on this energy, Jambo Fair Events – Buy & Sell Networking became a premier platform for entrepreneurs to connect, businesses to showcase products, and business deals to be made.
Today, that vision has become Biashara Connect - a living network supporting businesses, stimulating cross-pollination, and nurturing continuous development in Tanzania and beyond.

Subira Mwanja
Managing Director - Business Development

Subira Mwanja is the Managing Director – Business Development at Biashara Connect Company Limited, and the Managing Director of Smart Royal Enterprises, bringing over 11 years of experience in entrepreneurship, marketing, and business consultancy. Since 2014, she has been at the forefront of empowering small and medium-sized businesses in Tanzania and beyond, helping them to launch, formalize, and grow.
Through Biashara Connect, Subira has directly supported more than 1,000 entrepreneurs, while through Jambo Fair, the company’s flagship showcase platform, she has helped over 3,000 business owners expand their ventures and increase visibility. Her career includes leadership roles at Forever Living Company Limited, where she achieved the prestigious rank of Senior Eagle Manager, and at Karibu Magazine as Executive Sales Manager. She also collaborated with TANAPA on international campaigns promoting Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Mount Kilimanjaro under the “7 Natural Wonders of Africa” initiative.
With her proven track record, Subira is recognized as a dynamic business leader and consultant, driving entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic empowerment across Tanzania.
Dr. Amonge Jimmy Marco

Dr. Amonge Jimmy Marco is a business leader and medical professional with over 10 years of experience in business development, strategic leadership, and enterprise growth. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, and completed postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique, building a solid foundation in healthcare alongside management and leadership expertise.
Dr. Amonge currently serves as Director of Biashara Connect Limited and as Director/Company Secretary of JPM Group Ltd, where he focuses on enterprise innovation, organizational development, and community-centered economic opportunities. His leadership reflects a strong commitment to advancing sustainable, mission-driven ventures that create both economic value and long-term social impact.

Brian Kitiku is the General Manager – Marketing & Business Development Lead at Biashara Connect Company Limited. With over 18 years of experience in business development, Communications, Monitoring & Evaluation, Marketing, and project Management, he specializes in driving organizational growth, strengthening brand visibility, and building strategic partnerships.
Brian has led impactful programs across health, education, livelihoods, gender, SBCC, and economic empowerment, consistently delivering measurable results and long-term sustainability. Known for his results-oriented and visionary leadership, he combines strategic business acumen with community-driven impact, positioning Biashara Connect as a trusted partner in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Tanzania and beyond.
